Tradie Racks

Adding a tradesman roof rack is the cherry on top of any of our canopies, as they not only look great, but the ususes for it are endless. Our standard tradesman rack is made using 38mm OD x 3mm wall aluminium pipe. The rack can be made the same length as the canopy or up to 700mm over the cab. There is the option to have the sides of your rack upright like a traditional tradesman rack or have the tie rails frown for a sleek low profile look. There is also the option to add a mesh floor into the tradesman racks to make it a platform rack. If you’re planning to fit a 270 degree awning to your canopy, we have the option to add plates to the rack to allow easy fit up.

Powder coating
We only work with one powdercoater to keep a high quality finish. For this reason, it may take up to 2 weeks to have the rack painted. When the canopy is made, your car will be available to collect and once the rack is painted and back at our shop you can make a time to come back and fit the rack. It usually takes 30 minutes so you can wait whilst we do it. Our powder coating isn’t the acid bath and powder coat method that ends up flaking off; the rack gets sand blasted, etch primed, then powder coated.

Simple Roof Racks

Our simple racks are our budget canopy rack option for those that may only want to mount a solar panel or roof top tent. They consist of 40 x 40 x 3mm square aluminium tubing with a bar front and rear, side to side, and two bars connecting them front to rear.
There is the option to add extra bars side to side between the bars running front to rear. With the simple rack, the ends of the rack can either be capped or have upright tabs. If you plan to mount a roof top tent, it is best to have the ends capped to not interfere with the tent. If you’re wanting to put a solar panel on the rack, we can build it to suit a panel. We can also provide the panel.
